Actress and former Miss World 2009 Pooja Chopra, who featured in Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Aiyaary’, says it was a matter of honour for her when the filmmaker got her on board for the movie without an audition. It happened since because Pooja was earlier a part of Pandey’s short film ‘Ouch’. Adding to it, she said she is highly indebted to the film maker, who has shown fate in me, and would never let him down his faith in me. The actress will be seen playing the role of an army captain who leads four men for a covert operation.
Talking to media the actress revealed a bitter truth of life, that she had been brought to this world by her mom with a fight back with her husband. As his father never wanted a girl child again after the first baby as a girl(actress elder sister).
She told about how brutal his father was who expelled out my mom soon after my delivery and kept a proposal either she should leave me in hospital or be with him. But my fighter mom choosen me over her husband. It was actually an act of bravery for her . She moved from Kolkata to Mumbai with her two daughters to her parents.
She brought us with a great difficulty but never made us realised that. What I am today is all due to her efforts. Salute to such women who can brought up their kids with utmost courage without the mercy of their spouse.
