Songs are the prime part of any film. You can not imagine a movie going hit without containing a good lyrical song in it. Our Bollywood singers and music directors are best known for their lyrics in any of the entertainment industry. Songs play a vital role in making a movie super duper hit at the box-office.
But there are some songs which carries double meaning and sometimes it becomes awkard to hear such songs in public. Their lyrics are sometimes senseless, sometimes outrageous and sometimes offensive too.
During 90’s and off course in the beginning of this era 2000 , Bollywood songs are going irreverent with a vengeance. Lets revise few such songs:
Khada hai khada – andaaz (1984)– Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla cannot have enough of each other. Anil really wants to do it and as is customary of Hindi film heroines, Juhi keeps running away.
Mai layan hun chuha apna –Yaar gadaar(1994) The sexual innuendos in them would make your ears bleed .
Hum to tambu mai bamboo lagaye baithey –mard (1985)– Amitabh Bachchan’s most insane songs ever. you will simply shy away when he looks at the girl, squeezes a wet cloth and sings, “Maine jor lagaaya haath se bhi dabaaya…par dil ki miti na chubhan.”
Rukmani rukmani shaadi ke baad kya kya hua- roza 1992 The old lady is asking Rukmani about the sexual plays that Rukmani played after her marriage.
Ring ring ringa- slumdog millionare (2008): If you are a fan of politically incorrect humour, you would probably applaud the filmmakers’ ability to get away with such songs..
Aa re pritam pyarey- rowdy rathore (2012) Pallu ke neeche chhupa ke rakha hai, utha dun toh hungama ho…”, it is definitely bold and a powerhouse dance .
I am a hunter – gangs of vaasepur (2012)– Anurag Kashyap- most innuendo-filled song which talks about a woman wanting to see the man’s ‘gun’.
Dreamum wakupum –Aiyya (2012) The fantasy song Dreamum Wakeupum that follows is an imaginative ode to ’80s songs that featured actors turning against outsized props(breast and hips)….
Bitto sabki lega – bittoo boss (2012): The most irreverent song with a vengeance.
