In the case of gangrape, blackmail and abduction, Mohali police have registered a case against Punjabi singer — Jarnail Singh (commonly known as Jally) under Section 506 on Tuesday.
Jelly, and his friend had allegedly gang-raped a 30-year-old Punjabi model who approached the singer for learning Punjabi songs. The accused started teaching her. But in the meanwhile, one day the model was taken to Mohali’s Sector-57 flat in Mohali. Where singers others friends were also present he poured the model into a cold drink by mixing addicted substances. After this, he fell unconscious and the accused ganged with him. During this, Jelly had also prepared pornography.
Earlier, the accused had charge frames under the 313 (abortion without consent of the woman). The next hearing of the case will be on April 17. This case came out in October 2014.
