A massive fire broke out on the sets of Akshay Kumar’s film Kesari at Pimpode Budruk village in Maharashtra’s Satara district, police said.
However the fire was brought under control with the help of fire engines and no one was hurt a Satara Polic official told PTI.
The shooting for the same is taking place at Pimpode Budruk village in Wai teshsil, Pimpode Budruk village around 30 km from Satara, he said.
The shoot had a scene depicting a bomb explosion has captured the whole set into fire. Akshay kumar was just left out before the fire broke out.
The film is a war drama inspired by the Battle of Saragarhi of 1897, where an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans.
The film stars Parineeti Chopra and is being directed by Anurag Singh under the joint production of Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Azure Entertainment.
Akshay Kumar and the makers of the film have kept their lips tight about the incident happened yesterday late evening.
