Abhishek Bachchan after two-year gap will be soon seen on screen signing Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan.
Adding to it, in an interview with journalist Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, he said he needed that break to understand acting more, and to get the right kind of script.
The whole family remained very supportive to me during this period. Dad also took the break of 5 years to look for some right kind of movies. But Mom was like “what this guy is doing, one year has passed”? I think that’s a parental care.
However, Aish was fine with it, we were on the same page, he said.
Abhishek plays a Sikh man for Manmarziyaan. Tapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal are also a part of the film. He calls this break ‘the best thing that he did in his career’ to grow me stronger as an actor.
