No Anticipatory Bail For actress Surveen Chawla, Next Hearing On 21 May

The hearing of cheating case against Bollywood and pollywood actress Surveen Chawla and her husband Akshay Thakkar happened on Thursday, today. After hearing the plea of both the parties, District and Sessions court court fixed May 21 for decision on the anticipatory bail.

Advocate Naveen Jairath argued that the three accused were informed on the telephone for their presence in the police investigation matter of lending money but they did not join the investigation. It is clear from their absence in the police investigation that they have deliberately been away from the investigation.

While interacting with media advocate Naveen Jairath, in the presence of the ASI Harbans Singh and complainant Satyapal Gupta, said that Satyapal Gupta and his son Pankaj Gupta had sent a check of 40 lakh rupees to the film production company for the production of the film Nil Battey Sannata.

This money was transferred by Satyapal Gupta to the production company but are now in Surveen Chawla’s husband Akshay Thakkar’s account. The complainant has shown shock over this and has failed to understand how this has happened
