In a few days from now, Akshay Kumar headed to the cooler valley for approximately 20 days to shoot crucial portions of ‘Kesari’,
Under the direction of Anurag Singh’s, Akshay Kumar is in a lead role in the film that also stars Parineeti Chopra. The film depicts the fight of about 21 Sikhs against 10,000 Afghans historic battle of Sargarhi, fought in 1897.
The shooting for the film was underway at Pimpode Budruk, in Wai, 30 km from Satara when fire broke at the set of “Kesari” witnessing no casulaities.
The unit again landed up in the village Koumik in spiti valley. And Budha math is decorated for the shoot again.
Local people welcomed the whole cast in a traditional way, with great delight and joy.
