The much-anticipated biopic film Sanju is released yesterday after its fair share of controversies and delays based on Sanjay Dutt, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanju Baba (as Dutt is fondly known) . After seeing advance bookings and word of mouth publicity for the film, it is said it may touch the figure between 30-35 crores in a day which is released nationwide on 4000 screens in India and 1300 at overseas.
It can be said this would be the highly screened picture of Hirani and Ranbir.
, Hirani composes Sanjay Dutt’s return from his many off-screen falls with this onscreen homage. And in making this film, Hirani may well have given Ranbir Kapoor his career back. ‘Sanju’ has been creating a storm across the nation ever since the first looks of the movie released on the internet.
