Journey From His Career To Controversies- Honey Singh- The Rapper!!!
The popular rapper, singer, actor Honey Singh was a recording artist who later become Bhangda Producer in the entertainment industry was born in Hoshiarpur in Punjab who was known by his pet name Hirdesh singh. Honey entered Bollywood industry with his debut film- the expose which could not mark any history at the blockbuster.
He completed his degree in music from Trinity school of London, after which their family shifted to Delhi .
He loves singing in Punjabi and in Hindi, rather in English, he become the youth charm with his rap standing on top at the chartbuster. He has given performances in many of the colleges and in institutes including Ansal institute of technology, Ramjas College. He learnt DJying from DJ vishal.
He became noticeable figure after giving his debut song in the film- “Shakal pe mat ja”, and become most popular through his song “ marjaani paawey pandgha angrezi beat the “ from the film cocktail starring on Saif Ali Khan.
He gained the maximum popularity from his films released at the end of 2013-chennai express, Boss, his song “Lungi dance “went super viral.
He also sang for the low budget movies such as – mere dad ki maruti, bajatey raho, bhootnaath tips
But in 2014 he suddenly got eloped from the industry, people started speculating more over his disappearance, but proving them all wrong he made his comeback with a birthday bash song in February 2015.
He started acting career through a Punjabi film Mirza, however he had a cameo role only in the film, but awarded the best male debut of PTC Punjabi film award. He appeared again in another Punjabi comedy – tu mera 22, mai tera 22.
He was put into controversies with regard to the selection of content of his songs which were sometimes get raunchy like he was trapped into case for singing – “party all night”. He was also being attacked and bullied by many organizations for the selection of adult content, but every time he was exempted for not written by him.
He has a dream of bringing Grammy award for his motherland.
