21st September, 1980 Kareena Kapoor had born with the acting skills in her blood. Her father Randhir Kapoor, mother Babita and Sister Karisma Kapoor are the well-known Bollywood actors who does not require further more introduction.
She has left behind the conventional looks of an actress and established herself in the most stylish and modern manner. Since, having filmy atmosphere at home, so being driven to acting was normal for her. Her first Bollywood debut film was Refugee Released in 2000 starring opposite Abhishek Bachchan. However, the film failed to bring much audiences to the theatres, but yes , her charm was appreciated a lot, which opened up new ways for her, followed by “Mujhey Kuch Kehna wo Hai” which was a superhit movie.
She also got a chance work For Subhash Ghai’s Film Yaadein, but it’s poor script could not do any magic at the box office.
But the year 2002 proved her worth with the release of “Jeena Sirf Mere Liye and Mujhsey Dosti Karogi”. And in 2003 she got an offer to work in the film Mai Prem Ki Deewani starring with Abhishek Bachchan and Hiritik Roshan, which also remained a nominal film. Year 2004, gave many hits like- Yuva, Chameli, Halchal and Aitraaz. Directed by Sudhir Mishra film Chameli brought her filmfare award for her super acting in the films and gave her recognition.
Omkara was a big hit released in 2006 directed by Vishal Bhardwaj for which she was given critic award.
