Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh urges guests to donate gifts to charity for their grand wedding!!

The wedding preparations, guest list, venue of Bollywood’s power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are making rounds at social media in full swing. The soon-to-be bride and groom left for Lake Como on Friday and with just a day left, the excitement level is at peak.

The couple is getting married at one of the most expensive destinations in the world, at the Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como which is supposed to be an intimate event lacing with heavy security to no-mobile phones policy,
However, one major development about the wedding we learned is that the couple is not accepting gifts. Deepika and Ranveer have requested their guests to send cheques to Deepika’s charity The Live Love Laugh Foundation instead following in the footsteps of the royal couple Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,

A source told Mid-day, “Ranveer and Deepika are committed to the cause and want to involve their guests in the act of kindness.”

Only close family and friends have been invited to the wedding including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan.

DeepVerer’s Mumbai wedding reception will take place November 28 instead of December 1. Their reception is expected to be held at Grand Hyatt.
