Aanand L Rai directorial film Zero has finally hit the screen on theatres on 21stdecember. On the first day of its opening, it has mixed reviews from film critics across the country. It is SRK’s first Christmas release in the last three years.
The film generated the business below Rs. 25 crores on its first day of opening. However, its budget is said to be about 200 crores, hanging on 5965 screens including India and Abroad. It has 50% occupancy in the first half of the day followed by limited occupancy in the evenings.
Zero, that sees SRK in the role of a 38year old Meerut-based Bauua Singh, a vertically-challenged man who searches for a girl, and found Afiya(Anushka sharma) also a physically challenged girl who is scientist by profession fall in love with each other. Another twists come around when Bauua singh run away on the day of his wedding to meet the super star Babita Kumari(Katrina Kaif).

This romantic drama has many twists and turns. There is bad news for the film cast that the Film instantly got leaked online after its release which will definitely affect it upcoming business.
