Later in the day on Wednesday after the MiG-21 shot down and two Indian Air force pilots who were captured from its territory , the Pakistani government acknowledged that IAF Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has been captured by the Pakistani forces after fighter jets of both nations engaged in an air battle on Wednesday morning, in a major escalation of hostilities.
Members of the film fraternity from both India and Pakistan have called for peace and are wishing for the safe return of the Indian Air Force pilot.

Lollywood and Bollywood actress Veena Malik posted an alleged video of an Indian pilot who came down in Pakistani territory. In her post, she tagged Salman Khan , Narendra Modi and De Shobhaa and Indian Army.
Veena Malik took to Twitter to mock Abhinandan Varthaman, the IAF Pilot in Pakistan Custody. She wrote, “Abhi abhi tu ayo ho…achi mehmaan nawazi ho gi aap ki.”
Malik has been tweeting such posts ever since India carried out the surgical strikes.
She tagged Salman Khan in her tweet Salman Salman ji apni Indian Army ki khabar le lo” along with smiling emojis saying Pakistan Zindabad.
Salman slammin her tweet by saying “learn to respect IAF… jai ho!!
