Films Total Dhamaal, Gully Boy, De De Pyaar De, Luka Chuppi, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Badla were among the top performers. Kalank, added Rs 80.35 crore to the half-yearly box-office kitty. A mediocre performer, Student of the Year 2 earned Rs 69.11 crore.
Together, films have collected a towering Rs 2012.64 crore, which clearly suggests that the emergence of OTT platforms has had a negligible effect on the box office.
