F.A.L.T.U actor Angad Bedi who carved a niche in the industry after a spectacular performance in Diljit Dosanjh’s Soorma in 2018, is set to feature in the upcoming films The Zoya Factor and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
Recently, Angad who is escalating into his career revealed a fact about his co-star Janhvi Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi who will feature in Gunjan Saxena while having a chat with ZoomTV.com says” “She’s a lovely girl, she’s extremely hardworking. She’s extremely well-prepped for her part all time. She knows the script back and forth. She knows her lines, she knows the other actors’ lines also. Where she comes from the way she has projected, she is a star with the millennial audience. She has a great lineage of Sridevi ji, being Sridevi ji’s daughter. When she performs you can see a glimpse of Sridevi ji in her eyes. She’s a very likeable person, she’s got a lot of humility. And the way she respects people and talks to them. There is a lot to learn from her,” he said.
The film is an adoption of the first female IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena who entered the war zone during Kargil War of 1999.
“On set, we used to sit a eat together like a family. Pankaj ji, because he is so popular in UP, he used to make sure various dishes would come our way. He shared it with everybody. It was great to understand three different schools of performance. We all bonded, we were all very appreciative of each other’s work. Pankaj ji helped me a lot in one scene. It was a long scene between father and son. To have a senior actor like him on the set you just feel very secure because you know that if you get stuck anywhere there will always be somebody to help. Who better than my on-screen father than Pankaj Tripathi for Janhvi and I both,” he said.
Directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar’s movie also stars Vineet Kumar Singh and Manav Vij is slated to release on March 13, 2020.
